EpiQuin Micro contains hydroquinone 4%, a skin lightening agent that is considered the gold standard in the treatment of hyperpigmentation.

Hydroquinone prevents the overproduction of melanin from occurring, while lightening the brown spots on the skin. (2,3)

EpiQuin Micro is the only hydroquinone 4% formulated with Microsponge® technology and retinol. The retinol provides improvement in appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while enhancing the skin's appearance. Antioxidants vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate) and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) help protect against free-radical damage.

EpiQuin Micro is a safe, steroid-free formulation that can be used for both acute and maintenance therapy without the potential harmful side effects of long term steroid use. EpiQuin Micro should be tested for skin sensitivity prior to use.

EpiQuin Micro is packaged in a 30-gram Glaminate® tube with a sealed top. The Glaminate layer construction and tube packaging are designed to help prevent exposure to oxygen that could lead to oxidation and product degradation. The sealed top prevents the introduction of contaminants.

EpiQuin Micro should be tested for skin sensitivity prior to use. Excessive inflammatory responses are contraindications to further use, while minor redness is not. Hydroquinone may produce unwanted effects if not used as directed. The safety of topical hydroquinone use during pregnancy has not been established.
